About the role
We are seeking a talented Technical Program Manager, Finance Systems with a strong background in Financial business processes and systems. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Business Systems, the Technical Program Manager will be responsible for prioritizing and project managing all finance-related systems projects.

Location: This is an office-based position that requires at least 3 days/week onsite at our HQ in San Mateo, CA. We offer relocation assistance if needed.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop and maintain a prioritized project plan outlining key milestones and deliverables.
  • Establish clear accountability for project tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and systems analysts to convey project requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct regular meetings to assess project progress, discuss challenges, and strategize solutions.
  • Capture and disseminate meeting notes to ensure all stakeholders are well-informed.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to conduct thorough problems and needs assessments related to Financial systems improvements.
  • Oversee the execution of system improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor project timelines and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success.
  • Foster positive relationships with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Solicit and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement in project outcomes.
  • Generate regular reports on project status, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
  • Provide updates to leadership and stakeholders as needed. 

What makes you a good fit:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with a focus on financial systems (e.g. ERP, P2P)
  • Deep understanding of Finance business processes is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify and address challenges proactively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Proven experience with ERP, P2P systems required 

Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of options, comprehensive benefits, and various incentives and stipends. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000*.
