About the role:

As Skydio’s Production Repair Supervisor, you will oversee our in-house customer repair and testing teams and all processes associated with them. You’ll work closely with Customer Success teams to resolve customer issues, Engineering to conduct failure analysis, and Supply Chain to make sure you have all the right materials. This is a people leadership position that emphasizes the ability to foster teamwork and accountability in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Balance capacity against demand plan to ensure production goals and KPIs are being met
  • Staffs and directly manages assembly associates and technicians
  • Ensures approved processes are followed (SOPs, Quality, Test, Defect Reporting and Tracking)
  • Receive, document, and evaluate customer returns in the appropriate systems
  • Fosters positive learning and problem solving environment
  • Escalates issues to quality, supply, hardware, and software design teams as required
  • Manages in-line rework and RMA repairs

What makes you a strong fit:

  • Experience directly managing operators/associates
  • Familiar with domestic and international international shipping requirements
  • Experience setting up and running a customer repair program -Familiarity with electromechanical assembly and digital testing platforms
  • Comfortable using a variety of software solutions (Jira, NetSuite,Slack, Google docs, Quickbase etc.) for work orders,
  • Production control, inventory management, and communication
  • Highly organized with great communication skills
  • Can lead short term and longer term projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail, focused on quality and efficiency over quantity
  • Drives continuous improvement - able to build flexible and sustainable solutions that work for Repair but also serve other teams. 

Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of options, comprehensive benefits, and various incentives and stipends. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $93,000 - $126,000*.
