Chicago Police Department busts armed robbery ring

A string of 30 robberies and three different crime patterns in the four areas of Chicago, targeted victims who responded to dirt bike ads on Facebook Marketplace. Leaving victims traumatized by the armed robberies, and in some of the instances, harmed from physical violence. The Chicago Police Department Robbery Task Force got involved and organized a SWAT operation using drones and helicopters. In this video, watch as a drone provides surveillance as a witness to the crime, documenting and keeping eyes on the suspect allowing the SWAT team to move in safely and apprehend the suspect. With the help of drones, the Chicago Police Department was able to put a stop to this crime ring and charge the suspects with armed robbery.
