About the role:

The Integration Specialist is a seasoned public safety IT expert, dedicated to ensuring seamless integration of Skydio’s DFR solutions with public safety technology ecosystems at a tactical level. With a strong understanding of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Record Management Systems (RMS) and relevant public safety technologies, this individual ensures that DFR solutions are optimally configured to meet agency needs and maximize operational efficiency. They work closely with customer IT departments and Skydio’s technical teams to drive successful integrations. Understanding the lifecycle and ecosystem of integrations is important, even if most of their work will be spent on tactical integrations with customers and other vendors.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Manages the technical integration of Skydio DFR products with other public safety technologies and platforms, including CAD, LPR, RTCC, VMS and RMS systems
  • Collaborates with agency IT teams to ensure compatibility, reliability, and ease of use.
  • Stays current with advancements in public safety technology and advises on integration opportunities.
  • Documents integration processes to support knowledge transfer to the post-sales and customer support teams.
  • Works alongside Product Team who are responsible for enterprise to enterprise integrations strategy.

  • Experience in working with public safety customers on integrations. Preferably, organizing meetings involving the customer and the other integrating vendor. 
  • Strong people skills enough that you can build and maintain relationships almost entirely over voice and video calls.  
  • Experience on working in and with cross-functional teams.

This position is remote and expected to travel 10-15% of the time.

Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $153,000*.
