About the role:

The DFR Program Manager leads agencies through the entire journey of adopting Skydio’s DFR program—from initial conversations and planning through to a sustainable, scalable deployment. With deep expertise in DFR product offerings and program management, this individual ensures that agencies have a strong foundation for success that can grow as their needs evolve. This role is pivotal in guiding agencies around potential challenges, building strategic relationships, and laying the groundwork for future expansion.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for agencies from initial consultation through to a successful DFR program launch and growth.
  • Collaborates with Account PODs to develop customer success plans, operational workflows, and long-term success strategies for each agency.
  • Provides expert guidance on program setup, deployment, and sustainability to ensure smooth onboarding and operational success.
  • Establishes and nurtures strong relationships with agency stakeholders to drive program buy-in, troubleshooting, and future expansion.
  • Captures program learnings and insights, relaying them to product and engineering teams to improve Skydio’s DFR offerings.
  • Creates robust program documentation to support expansion, scalability, and seamless transition to the post-sales team.

What makes you a good fit:

  • Experience as a customer-facing professional services / program manager / customer success, or in a similar high-tier complex and multifaceted role preferably for law enforcement agencies. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including interaction with senior leaders and a strong focus on project management tools and concepts.
  • Proven track record of implementing new technology, agile development and interfacing with technical teams to deliver on customer schedules. 
  • Experience in implementing effective internal business systems, processes and controls (hardware, software, operations) for management of large scale customer projects in the Law Enforcement field
  • Experience with Law Enforcement and commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems and related software development. 
  • Law Enforcement Program Management experience, to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Acquisition Planning, and Budget Planning.
  • Outstanding analytical thinker and problem solver, comfortable working in data analytics and able to resolve complex problems independently. Thinking ‘out of the box’ and to develop creative solutions

Base Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is $170,000.00 - $200,000*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans.
