About the Role:
Skydio is seeking a strategic social and digital media expert to join the Communications team. This person will lead and manage Skydio’s daily organic social media presence and long-term strategy development. The role will report to the VP of Communications and work closely with the broader marketing team - especially the Demand Generation team that leads paid social - and CEO to develop Skydio’s brand voice and leverage digital properties to build relationships with target audiences. In this role, they will source, vet, and package organic social media content and campaigns that are engaging, differentiate the company, and bring to life the real-world impact our products are driving in the hands of customers who work in critical industries like public safety, defense, and utilities.
This role is an individual contributor and will be based in the Bay Area with the ability to be in the San Mateo office at least three days per week.

Typical Qualifications:
Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $124,500 - $158,000*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
*For some positions the pay may be dependent upon the individual's regional location.
